The Portable Analyzers from Crystal Instruments complement the MC-monitoring product range for vibration monitoring of rotating machinery:
The CoCo series are portable devices for Vibration Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance applications.
The Spider series are portable devices for Dynamic Signal Analyzing.
The system is based on a flexible architecture, allowing to address specific application requirements by combining dedicated software and hardware module. It consists of a portable device (Coco or Spider) and the Engineering Data Management (EDM) software suite, including a selection of modules. To name few of these software modules, there is the Dynamic Signal Analysis (DSA) to perform advanced signal analyzing with a dynamic processing, the Vibration Diagnostic System (VDS) to define factories and routes, or even the Post Analyzer (PA) to perform processing of signal and advanced mathematical functions, on collected data, after measurements. The processing bloc includes like FFT Spectral Analysis, Order Tracking, Tacho Tracking, or Acoustic Analysis. The EDM has a unique user interface that emphasizes graphical tools. The layout can be configured and customized to meet specific needs. The software is designed to make using the CoCo or Spider a streamlined process that makes measuring, analyzing, reporting, and documenting work easier.
Typically, the Portable Analyzers are mainly designed for:
- Route measurement for trending analysis
- Dynamic onsite measurement
- Bump test (impact)
- Order tracking
- Balancing
User will define any parameters related to the data acquisition and the processing. Parameters can be modified using the software module or directly while in the field depending on the mode. Measurements can be analyzed through different windows, like Overall readings, Time waveform, Spectrum (FFT), 3D diagrams, Demodulated Spectrum and Trending.

- The CoCo or Spider devices are available with 2, 4, 6, 8 or even 16 channels, depending on your needs. Do not hesitate to contact us for guidance.
